    Project Summary:

    Complete the virtual simulation as data analyst for Accenture in a scenario that was a social media pseudo-client setting. Handling data end to end-all the way from cleaning to delivering strategic business insight.

    Technical Contributions:

  • Cleaning, modeling, and analyzing seven raw datasets for key trends around user engagement and content performance and translating the analytical results into strategic insights for the client to ask for decisions.
  • Putting together one single PowerPoint presentation for the client and recording a video walkthrough for stakeholders.

  • Gaining the ability to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets within the context of business questions that were posed to them.

    Project Synopsis:

    Heavily engaged in designing and developing software-based hardware systems which in turn evaluate worker performance automatically against set KPIs. The system again allowed real-time monitoring and grading of its employees across departments for equity in performance reviews.

    Technical Contributions:

  • Designed dynamic front-end interfaces using Bootstrap and JavaScript for deployment at desktop terminals.
  • Developed backend logic and services in C# to receive performance data and calculate ratings.
  • Set up SQL Server databases to store employee activity logs and rating scores information.
  • Interface the software with RFID-enabled attendance modules and IoT devices.

  • With this automated evaluation, the manual bias got eradicated, thereby saving maximum 30 man-hours every review cycle.
  • It helped improve the accuracy and transparency of tracking employee performance.
  • This also helped in making HR decisions and processes for quarterly feedback better.
  • Hot Machining Optimization – 17-7 PH Alloy Steel(Internship).

    July 2018 to October 2018

    Project Description:

    Conducted experimental research on hot machining behavior of 17-7 PH alloy steel to aid fabricating missile components. The project dealt with thermal-type optimization carried out by setting up the butane gas environment to work on machinability and performance of the material.

    Technical Contributions:

  • Performed hot machining tests in a controlled manner with varying thermal conditions to study tool wear, surface integrity, and chip morphology.
  • Optimized process parameters at different temperatures, feeds, and speeds for best cutting conditions.
  • Looked after the set-up and operation of a butane gas heating unit coupled with the machining setup.
  • Outcome & Impact:

  • contributed to DRDO in advancing missile materials by improving machining methodologies.
  • Made it possible to manufacture complicated geometries for components from heat-resistant alloys precisely.
  • Results were taken forward in present material design reviews and process control methodologies.
  • Automation Study of Shear-Stress Testing Apparatus(Internship).

    Project Description:

    Commanding a study to optimize the performance of an automatic shear-stress testing machine for nuclear materials in the assessment of mechanical properties. Seeking operational inefficiencies and recommending data-based improvements so as to optimize ensuring reliability, accuracy, and throughput parameters in the test environment.

    Technical Contributions:

  • Root-cause analysis and time-motion studies for performance study of the machine against various load conditions.
  • Gathered real-time data from the machine and interpreted the results for inefficiencies and calibration problems.
  • Designed test procedures and fixed performance criteria to verify the consistency and repeatability of the machine.
  • Produced detailed technical documentation related to schematics, system behavior, and analysis of failure points.
  • Outcome & Impact:

  • Suggested changes that have improved operational throughput and thus reduced mechanical downtimes.
  • Produced formal technical reports utilized in internal audits and training documentation.
